A Little Project
Years ago, when I worked at Macy's I picked up a magnetic knife strip on crazy sale. (You know those sales, it's 50% plus 25% plus employee discount = practically free.) Sometime around Christmas we outgrew it:

We registered for, and received, two knife magnet thingies, and we never installed them because we couldn't agree where to put them. Since we have that tile backsplash, anything we did would have to be permanent, and might detract from the value of the kitchen.
On the other hand, we hope to someday remodel the kitchen...
